A little more than halfway through my first year in Charlotte, I am only now beginning to feel like it is home. In all honesty it isn't that different from Portland. Sure, the lack of food carts is noticeable or the fact that there isn't a coffee shop on every corner. However Charlotte has a lot to offer, I just need to go out and explore!
